Today, Harwich Port is known as America's second happiest seaside town, and the town is comprised of seven villages, all of which are located along the waters of Nantucket Sound and reach all the way east to beautiful Pleasant Bay. The town offers various charming spots, including Harwich Port, the most charming spot in the town, where visitors can explore artisan galleries, restaurants, and boutique shops, while Harwich Center is a quiet and quaint village with historic structures and a few stores, including an old-fashioned hardware store and a coffee shop.
