Yarmouth, one of the oldest towns on Cape Cod, is a charming destination that offers visitors a blend of history, nature, and entertainment. Yarmouth has three distinctive villages, each with its own character and appeal. The village of Yarmouth Port, located on historic Route 6A, is an unspoiled area rich in New England charm, with sea captain’s homes, antique shops, and a sprawling village green. The Captain’s Mile along Route 6A is a self-guided tour of over 50 former sea captains’ homes, while Gray’s Beach Boardwalk offers stunning views of the sunset.

The villages of West and South Yarmouth offer a more commercially settled area, with hotels, motels, restaurants, souvenir shops, and miniature golf courses. The town has four golf courses, including two municipal courses, and many areas for kayaking and paddleboarding, particularly Bass River.
